Yes it is still taboo, but a lot of people are not afraid to assume that they smoke or have smoked pot at some stage of their life.

More and more celebrities are speaking of their drug usage as they advocate for the legalization of marijuana. Some these famous folks have never hidden the fact that they smoke weed, while other celebrity's pro pot stances may surprise you.

However, many of them are openly pro pot activists in a way, as they go on shows to discuss their casual cannabis use, and to support the medical cannabis use or even full decriminalization; like Tommy Chong who is a pot activist and a member of The National Organization for the Reform Law of Marijuana (NORML).

Others like Snoop Dogg and Rihanna make no effort to hide their habit, but others such as Justin Bieber have gone to great lengths to try and keep it a secret to no avail. Plus, a few surprise group of celebrities’ smokers.

Actress and model she told British GQ, "I hope they legalize marijuana and when they do I’ll be the first person in line to buy my pack of joints."

Woody Harrelson is one of the most outspoken advocates of marijuana usage in Hollywood. He has stated, "Marijuana’s about marijuana. That’s consensual, victim-less crime. That’s saying, I think I should have the freedom to do whatever the hell I want to do if I’m living in a so-called free country, as long as I’m not hurting someone else. That’s freedom. If I’m gonna hit myself in the head with a hammer, so be it. That’s freedom."

On "Watch What Happens: Live," The famous Journalist also admitted that she smoked weed back in 1982.

The actress is a big advocate of using the plant, especially for medicinal purposes. In April 2016, she has even launched a line of therapeutic products that promise to relieve Colic and Menstrual pain.

No news too, right? Among celebrities, the guy is the most notoriously and enthusiast one - if not the biggest - enthusiasts of marijuana use. Also, along with Dr. Dree, he composed the hit ''Smoke Weed Everyday''.


In her Instagram account, the Singer lives posting photos of her smoking marijuana (Rihanna/Instagram). In 2015, an information on the internet saying that she would launch her own brand of plant products, called Marihanna caused a huge impact, unfortunately the news was nothing more than a rumor.

Justin Timberlake

Lady Gaga

During a radio program in 2013 she revealed that she spent a season smoking between 15 and 20 packs per day. Gaga said she stopped using marijuana because she realized she was addicted and that it was not doing her any good anymore.

Wiz Khalifa is a huge advocate of smoking marajuana. He has stated, "I’m a cigarello fiend, smokin’ weed like it’s oxygen."

The biography Barack Obama: The Story, released in 2012, reveals that he smoked marijuana while in college. "Middle-class youths are not arrested for smoking marijuana, but poor young people are." said the former president of United States.

George W. Bush

George W. Bush a former president of the United states, refrained from speaking about his past marijuana use stating, "I wouldn't answer the marijuana question. You know why? 'Cause I don't want some little kid doing what I tried."

Bill Clinton

The former President back in 1990s Bill Clinton, has admitted to smoking pot. "When I was in England, I experimented with marijuana a time or two, and I didn't like it, and I didn't inhale, and I never tried again," he said.

Arnold Schwarzenegger

In a documentary recorded in the 1970s, the star appears to be smoking a joint. Decades later, when he was already governor of California, he said that marijuana is just a leaf, not a drug. Despite being affiliated with the Republican Party and having already made contradictory statements on the subject, Schwarzenegger worked toward more lenient laws for the use of the plant in California.
